"TUF 11" vet Rich Attonito plans drop to welterweight class

The next time he steps into the octagon, veteran 185-pounder Rich Attonito will be a little lighter.

The American Top Team fighter today told MMAjunkie.com that the 170-pound class is better suited for him than the middleweight class in which he previously competed.

"I've got to put myself in a position to succeed," he said.
