PORTLAND, Ore. -- Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose is fond of saying every game presents a new defensive challenge in the NBA.
One game after Portland's Andre Miller posted 27 points and 11 assists in a Bulls' loss, Rose faces another huge test in Utah's Deron Williams.
"He's a great player," Rose said. "They way they play is very tough. It's the flex offense throughout the game. Even if the ball is away, you go to stay attached to your man.
"And he plays physical throughout the whole game. That's what I'm learning to do. I think I'm a good defender one-on-one."
"You can't really compare them because they're not that similar," Brewer said. "They both play point guard. That's about it.
"DRose is the most athletic guard in the NBA. DWil is not fast and athletic. But in a way, he's quick and decisive. He'll lull you to sleep, then hit you with a crossover and pull up. DRose, you can't really stay in front of him. He can do whatever he wants to when he gets the ball. DRose is still young. DWil has been doing it awhile.
"DWil is a big-body point guard. He posts up small guards. They run offense through him. That's an advantage he has on smaller guards, guards he's stronger than. We just want to win."
