Kelvin Hackney has earned his show money and win bonus despite not stepping into the cage.

Hackney was scheduled for a preliminary-card fight before his opponent, Josh Shockley, was promoted to a tourney slot at tonight's Bellator 36 event.

MMAjunkie.com has confirmed that Bellator officials paid Hackney his full purse and promised him a spot on the season-ending Bellator 45 card.
