New Arizona State coach Todd Graham has indefinitely suspended defensive end Junior Onyeali "for not meeting the high standards of the Sun Devil football program," according to Doug Haller of the Arizona Republic. Onyeali was previously suspended from the Maaco Las Vegas Bowl by outgoing coach Dennis Erickson. According to Haller, that was due to a "heated exchange" with Erickson at practice.
