The Jaguars' streak continues.And while this streak has little to do with their pursuit of their first AFC South title, it's a big one for the franchise, with the team announcing a blackout has been averted for a home game Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
The Jaguars, who last week moved into sole possession of first place in the AFC South for the first time ever in December, on Thursday received a 24-hour extension to the NFL's blackout deadline.
They announced Friday they had sold enough tickets to televise the game locally Sunday.
The regular deadline to sell enough tickets to avert a blackout is 72 hours before kickoff, which meant Thursday at 1 p.m.
