GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Chicago White Sox have won only one of their first seven spring games and manager Ozzie Guillen said his team needed to step it up in preparation for the season.
Mark Buehrle followed Gavin Floyd's iffy Saturday outing with one of his own in an 8-3 loss Sunday, allowing the Royals three runs on four hits in thee first inning. Floyd gave up three runs in two-plus innings against the Indians yesterday.
Buehrle became the first Sox pitcher to go three innings but put the Sox in a 5-1 hole with nine hits.
Adam Dunn recorded his first RBI of the spring (a single) for the Sox's run.
