Bellator 40 weigh-in results: Askren and Thompson, tourney fighters all on weight

All fighters competing at Saturday's Bellator 40 event today successfully made weight for the show.

Today's official fighter weigh-ins took place at First Council Casino in Newkirk, Okla., which also hosts Saturday's show.

Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren (170.6 pounds) and veteran Nick Thompson (170.8), who meet in the headliner of the MTV2 broadcast, both successfully made weight for their non-title "super fight."
