Patriots play Rams in U.K. in 2012

The New England Patriots will take their game overseas to the United Kingdom next season. The team announced it will play the St. Louis Rams at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 28. For the Patriots, this will be considered a road game. The Rams agreed to a three-year series in the United Kingdom and will be the hosting team. The NFL is working to grow its international fan base. "The response to NFL games in the U.K. among our British fans has been exceptional," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement.
