Todd Graham got at least one former Pittsburgh commitment back into the fold. Defensive back Lafayette Pitts signed with the Panthers on Wednesday morning. Pitts had originally been committed to the school but reneged and gave his word to Rutgers after the coaching change. But Graham got him to flip back, helped perhaps by a scholarship offer to Pitts' cousin, Jevonte Pitts.
Lafayette Pitts is considered a three-star player. And with that last name, shouldn't he be playing for the Panthers?
