Bob Sanders Visits Jaguars for Physical Examination Monday

Bob Sanders' next stop could be in the same division as his old one.

Sanders, a two-time Pro Bowl selection for the Indianapolis Colts, is visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars Monday and undergoing a physical examination, Tania Ganguli of The Florida Times-Union wrote Monday citing a league source.

Sanders, a second-round selection by the Colts in the 2004 NFL Draft, has played just nine games over the past three seasons, including one this past season after a biceps injury in the regular-season opener. He was released by the Colts Friday.

Sanders, the 2007 Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year and a Pro Bowl selection in 2005 and 2007, also missed 14 games in 2009 with a biceps injury.

He played five games in 2008 after playing 14 in his Player of the Year season in 2007.

According to Ganguli, the Jaguars can sign free agents until March 3 under the NFL's current Collective Bargaining Agreement. If no new deal is in place by then, teams can not sign players or make roster moves until one is reached.
