Chris Johnson Clearly Focal Point of Chris Palmer's Tennessee Offense

Chris Palmer hasn't been the Tennessee Titans' offensive coordinator long, but he already has an idea about the future.

Palmer, hired as the Titans' coordinator this week, spoke to the media at a Friday press conference, and said he would like the offense to be on the field at least 65 plays a game, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported Friday.

"The thing that I like was the offensive line," Palmer said Friday. "You watch the offensive line work together and there is a chemistry that is intriguing to me. I think there's a lot of pieces here and we just have to find out what they can do and give them a chance to do it and that includes the quarterback position also.''

Palmer, who replaced Mike Heimerdinger as offensive coordinator, called running back Chris Johnson "special" and said he was impressed with the team's tight ends.

He also said he would like the Titans to average around 32 minutes possession.
