When you've been out of action as long as Ed Herman has, short-notice is a welcome change. After multiple knee injuries kept him out of action for nearly two years, the UFC middleweight is relishing the opportunity to step in for an injured competitor.
"I was hoping to get three fights this year if I could, so it was great," Herman told MMAjunkie.com Radio. "I was hoping they would call me for something quick, and they did. Bonus for me."
