TORONTO - After a disappointing UFC debut this past June, Canadian Mitch Gagnon was finally able to notch an octagon win in front of his countrymen.Gagnon used pinpoint striking to set up his vaunted jiu-jitsu attack, and he downed Walel Watson in just 69 seconds.
The bantamweight bout was part of the preliminary card of Saturday's UFC 152 event at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The fight streamed on Facebook prior to additional prelims on FX and a main card on pay-per-view.
