Questions ranged from what he liked about Oklahoma State to his pregame routine, leaving no doubt about his favorite part of his pregame routine when asked by a fan.
"My favorite part is breakfast because I get all you can eat bacon," he said.
He also added that his favorite play in the 2010 season was his flea flicker touchdown against Prince Amukamara of Nebraska.
After the chat session, he spoke with reporters via teleconference. It didn't take long for nature's greatest meat to earn some discussion.
"I wouldn’t say it’s a secret," he said, asked if it was his secret weapon. "That’s what I like to eat. It’s very serious."
Blackmon and his quarterback Brandon Weeden (who will be chatting in the same spot today at 10:30 a.m. ET), are both active on Twitter, but the site hasn't become a problem for them or their coach, Mike Gundy.
"I wouldn’t say [Gundy has made] any rules, but we know the ins and outs of Twitter. What to say what not to say and what needs to be out there and we go on from there," Blackmon said.
You can follow Blackmon (@JustBlack81), Weeden(@bweeden3), and Gundy (@CoachGundy) on the social networking site. (You can follow me, too!)
"It’s definitely something you can get hooked on once you figure out what you’re doing," Blackmon said. "It's a lot of fun, it's a chance to connect with people you wouldn't normally communicate with."
After some time away from Stillwater for summer break, Blackmon is back on campus and opened up about the long offseason.
"We're very excited to get back out there and start competing for our team goals," he said. "We have goals at hand and we’ve been working for them, and we’ll continue that to make us the best we can be heading into the season."
Among those goals: A Big 12 title and a BCS bowl or spot in the BCS National Championship game.
"You can tell the people that are here are working out and trying to get better," Blackmon said of summer workouts. "More and more people are starting to buy in."
A few other notable quotes:
On his relationship with Weeden after making their decisions to come back:
"We’ve been doing a lot more off the field together and things like that, just hanging out and that sort of thing. It’s gotten a lot stronger and better since we decided to come back."
On his new offensive coordinator, Todd Monken, and his experiences coaching receivers in the NFL:
"He can inform me of a lot of things that go on at the next level, things he’s been through and things he’s seen. ...I can have in my mind what might or what could happen."
On his physique from last year to this year:
"I'm not trying to get bigger. I’ve put on some weight. I'm trying to get as big as I can without losing speed. If I gain 5-10 pounds and can still run, I might try to stay bigger. I’m not going to change anything too much. If anything that’d be it."
He also says he's 215 pounds.
