A welterweight bout originally planned for "Strikeforce: Miami" has materialized again for the promotion's next major event.Multiple sources today told MMAjunkie.com that onetime welterweight title challenger K.J. Noons is targeted to meet Billy Evangelista at "Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Masvidal," which takes place Dec. 17 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego.
Verbal agreements are in place for the bout. It's not yet known whether the bout will air as part of the event's main card or reside on the preliminary roster.
