Cain Velasquez is highly regarded, but who knew his peers liked him so much. Canada's UFC connected sat down with a slew of fighters for their thought on the Velasquez-Junior dos Santos fight on Fox this weekend.
Eleven of 12 fighters chose Velasquez to win. Oddly enough, Las Vegas sports books only have Velasquez as a minus-165 favorite. Not surprisingly, Roy Nelson is the only lone wolf choosing JDS to win the fight.
On UFC Undisputed 3, Cain was the man as well. JDS actually scored a few takedowns in the first, but Velasquez's left hook finds the mark in the second.The champ scores a takedown and easily passes to side control. He eventually mounts JDS and the Brazilian gives up his back. Velasquez pounds him out from there scoring a TKO victory in the second.
