UFC 138 draws a reported 10,823 attendees for record-setting $1.5 million live gate

BIRMINGHAM, England - Saturday's "UFC 138: Leben vs. Munoz" event drew a reported 10,823 attendees and generated a live gate of $1.5 million.

UFC president Dana White revealed the figures at the evening's post-event press conference, which MMAjunkie.com attended.

Featuring a middleweight contest between fast-rising contender Mark Munoz and fan-favorite slugger Chris Leben, White said the figure represents a live-gate record for Birmingham, England's LG Arena, which hosted the event.
