Anthony Pettis aiming for October return, open to potential 'TUF 16' coaching gig

LAS VEGAS - Former WEC champion Anthony Pettis is staying quiet for now, but expect something a little different later this year.

"Showtime" is currently on the mend after undergoing shoulder surgery earlier this year, and he believes there's no reason to call out anybody until he's ready to fight.

But make no mistake about it, Pettis is looking for a big fight, one that earns him a UFC title shot. And if that means a potential date with Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone and a coaching role on "TUF," then so be it.
