LAS VEGAS - The Gleison Tibau train came to a grinding halt Saturday night in somewhat surprising fashion. Tibau, looking for his fourth straight win and sixth in his last seven bouts, dropped a 30-27 sweep of the judges' scorecards against Khabib Nurmagomedov, scores that seemed to come as a surprise to many in attendance.
The preliminary-card bout was part of Saturday's UFC 148 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on FX prior to the night's pay-per-view main card.
