UF QB rotation likely just for first game

Florida coach Will Muschamp announced on Monday that sophomore quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel will rotate by quarters in the first half of the season opener against Bowling Green. That rotation is expected to end after halftime, and first-year offensive coordinator Brent Pease has indicated that it might not carry over to the second week. "It depends how they play, I guess, and what they create," Pease said Tuesday. A two-quarterback system can work when both quarterbacks bring different attributes to the game, but Muschamp has said that both Brissett and Driskel are very similar in what they can do in the Gators' offense.
