NC State's defense played a respectable game, but the Wolfpack had several costly penalties and jumped offsides on two fourth downs. Discipline was an issue. In the end, Georgia Tech did what it does best -- controlled the clock and ran the ball. NC State moved the ball, but not well enough on third down, and Mike Glennon threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown.
NC State has yet to beat a team from the FBS this season. Georgia Tech looks like it could stay undefeated for at least three more weeks, based on how Maryland, Virginia and Miami have played so far.
