White says 'really bad summer' in Denver contributed to UFC 150's low gate

DENVER - After back-to-back pay-per-view events with record-setting numbers, the UFC apparently went into UFC 150 with tempered expectations.

And when UFC President Dana White read off the early figures at the post-event news conference in Denver, he may not have been too thrilled with the numbers - but at least he may not have been surprised.

UFC 150, which took place Saturday at Denver's Pepsi Center, drew just over 15,000 fans for a reported live gate of $650,000 - makes it the lowest gate total for a UFC pay-per-view in years.
