Vince Young Injury Update: Practices Full as Titans Prepare for Redskins

Vince Young returned to practice for the Tennessee Titans Wednesday.

Young, who missed the first half of this past Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins before replacing Kerry Collins in the second half, returned to practice on a day which Collins missed with a calf injury.

Collins is expected to be out at least a few weeks, Titans coach Jeff Fisher said this week.

Fisher on Wednesday expressed confidence Young will play Sunday.

"I think it will help," Fisher said as the Titans (5-4) prepared to play the Washington Redskins at LP Field in Nashville Sunday. "Regardless of who he's practicing with it's going to help.

"(Young) is certainly off to a great start this week, with the reps, he got all the reps today like we anticipated and it looks like the injury is behind him and he's good to go."

Fisher, asked if Young getting a chance to practice with newly acquired wide receiver Randy Moss would help the latter fit into the offense, said he didn't think Moss was a bad fit last week.

Moss caught one pass for 26 yards in his first game with Tennessee after being acquired off waivers from Minnesota.
