The Big 12 is an astounding 14-1 through two weeks of play, with nine teams undefeated. Only Missouri has a loss, and that came on the road in overtime to Arizona State on Friday night. Last year, the Tigers were the last Big 12 team to lose, by way of a blowout at Nebraska after the Tigers knocked off No. 1 Oklahoma at home. This year they're the first.
But on to bowl projections, where we have a new member! After not being able to fill the eighth spot for the first two weeks of our projections, Iowa State's win lands it on the list.
