Brett Favre's streak of 297 consecutive regular season starts (321 if you include playoff games) came to an end on Monday night, when the quarterback was listed as inactive for the Vikings' game against the Giants.It was odd to see Favre on the Vikings sideline in street clothes, but it was just another development in an odd, trying season for Favre, who the Vikings convinced to return for a final year last summer. Favre has said on multiple occasions that this would be his last year, but speculation still remains on that front.
Then there's the question of what happens for the remainder of 2010. Will the Vikings put Favre on injured reserve?
After the Giants' 21-3 victory over the Vikings (with Tarvaris Jackson under center), Favre commented on the end of one of sports' most miraculous streaks.
