The Jacksonville Jaguars played a key game Sunday without their best offensive player.
It showed.
With running back Maurice Jones-Drew missing a game because of injury for the first time in his career, the Jaguars' offense struggled throughout much of the game Sunday, with the end result being a critical 20-17 overtime loss to the Washington Redskins.
Jones-Drew missed the game with a knee injury.
Rashad Jennings, who started in place of Jones-Drew, rushed for 32 yards on 15 carries and the Jaguars finished 78 yards rushing on 23 carries as a team.
"Really, the running game has been bottled up," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said. "Rashad rushed for 2.1 (average), 15 carries. That's not going to get it done. He was our leading rusher, that's not a good sign for your run game."
