Neither the Redskins nor the Cowboys are headed to the playoffs this season, but both could use a win Sunday in Dallas to help carry them through their otherwise-meaningless final few games. Perhaps it's no surprise, then, that the Cowboys were breathing a sigh of relief after hearing about Mike Shanahan's decision to bench Donovan McNabb for Rex Grossman."Everybody started smiling," Dallas defensive end Jason Hatcher said about his team's reaction to the news, according to The Washington Post's Rick Maese. "We were pretty happy about the news."
McNabb's already got a win over Dallas under his belt this season -- a 13-7 barnburner way back in Week 1, when the Redskins and Cowboys had their sights set high. Things have changed since then, obviously, with Dallas bringing up the rear in the NFC East at 4-9, one game behind Washington.
