On verge of historic fight, UFC's Fredson Paixao says nerves the key to victory

While most many MMA fans and observers look forward to the 2011 debut of the WEC champions in newly created UFC divisions, a handful of lighter-weight fighters are making the plunge this weekend.

Saturday's Spike TV-broadcast The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale event will host a handful of former WEC athletes, and submission ace Fredson Paixao is among those making the leap.

Paixao admits the chance to compete in the world-famous octagon is a dream come true, and he believes nerves may play a role with all incoming WEC fighters.
