Reggie Torbor Placed on Injured Reserve With Bad Shoulder

Buffalo Bills coach Chan Gailey knew starting inside linebacker Reggie Torbor's shoulder injury suffered during last Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers was bad enough to keep him out of the lineup "indefinitely" on Wednesday.

Well, indefinitely became permanently on Friday as Buffalo placed Torbor on injured reserve and claimed tight end Scott Chandler off waivers from the Dallas Cowboys to fill his roster spot. Torbor had 41 tackles on the season.

The Bills have had a run of bad luck on the defensive side of the ball in the last week as three players have ended up on IR -- Torbor, defensive end Dwan Edwards and linebacker Shawne Merriman. They will also be without tight end Shawn Nelson (migraines) and guard Eric Wood (ankle) when they travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings on Sunday.
